The cat does not appreciate us being away for any length of time, so a four day absence triggers a night of disruption as she climbs onto the bed at regular intervals and demands attention. Tiring for us, and also apparently also for her; because today she has spent much of the day in a cardboard box in a less than ladylike position. I have used a shallow depth of field to preserve her modesty.

2015-07-15| Spike saysShe’s a Korat. Korat’s reason to exist is to be with their human companions at all times. Go to the loo and shut the door and she will cry outside as if she is being tortured; until you let her in so she can sit at your feet as you shit. Watch TV and she will be sat next to you on the sofa expecting a regular stroke. Sit at the computer and she will attempt to share your keyboard. So bedtime is an opportunity to crawl between both of us for a goodnight stroke before settling down on my legs for the night. It’s actually rather endearing and we love her too much.
