Our route north takes us through Saraburi, so it is inevitable that we will pass one of the more popular seasonal attractions, a sunflower field.
Sunflowers are indeed beautiful…..



….but it is difficult to understand why thousands make the pilgrimage to stand in a field full of them; until you actually visit and see for yourself. It’s not about enjoying the flowers, it’s about being photographed with the flowers; both real and artificial:






We paid our ten baht to wander around for a bit, she who must be obeyed may or may not have taken some selfies; and we moved on. Not recommended.
