Wat Rong Khun is a very special place, a temple like no other in Thailand. I was therefore very sad to learn that it was substantially damaged by yesterday’s earthquake in Northern Thailand. Twenty years of artistry destroyed.
I was lucky enough to visit some years ago and was hoping to go again. A sad loss.
