Continuing our journey through Nonthaburi, we arrive at Wat Amphawan. The point of interest is apparently a prayer hall on stilts.

More charming was the life on the adjacent waterway:

Although for some it was hard work, moving soil from one boat to another:

Not a great location, although that final shot made it worth the trip.

2014-02-03| Mike N saysNow, if you had taken the missus she would have told you that photo 1 is not a prayer hall, but in fact a tripitaka library for the precious ancient manuscripts, built on stilts over water to keep the termites away . The 2 B&W shots are excellent !
