With our previous macro shooting grounds laid low by machinery, Mr. Pattaydaze and myself sought pastures new this morning. This involved jumping through muddy puddles in my truck which I thoroughly enjoyed, although I think I really must wash it soon because visibility is down to not a lot.
Anyway, we found some very promising undergrowth which turned out to be not such a good hunting ground as it first appeared; maybe it will be better if we go after some rainfall. Anyway, here are a few shots:

2013-06-28| Kevin Moore saysSome really nice images there Spike. I bet you’re so relieved to be painting with light rather than a roller. Just had another visit to Pattaya Dave site, he certainly seems to be able to find the critters. Would love to see one of these whip snakes he seems to find on a regular basis, are they poisonous? I’m back out late October or again in early Jan, perhaps you could get me some tips on where to find one. Having just unburdened myself of what felt like several tons of Nikon kit, I’m now a micro four thirds shooter and can maybe walk a few miles without exhaustion setting in.

2013-06-29| Spike saysAnnoyingly, he wanders down the road from his condo in the middle of Jomtien every morning and investigates patches of waste land. When we go out into the country we never see a snake. They may be poisonous, he doesn’t seem to worry. I am sure he would be happy to take you along one day when you are here, he is very good at spotting them.
