Yum yum!

How did you manage to get this overhead shot Spike? I lent over an escalator, three floors up. An escalator? So there are several floors of escalators immediately overlooking this stall of uncovered candies. Correct. And escalators are where people stand with nothing to do, so they scratch their head, pick their nose and generally divest small pieces of themselves on and around the escalator. Correct. And of course the movement of the escalator will generally stir up the air and encourage dust and more debris to fall onto the candies. Correct. So did you buy some candies? Nope.

You’re leaning over an escalator, not an ideal position to hold a camera; escalator implies you’re moving (otherwise it’s a flight of stairs), and it’s a fairly long exposure given the motion blur in the passer-by. How the hell is the picture so sharp?

Five axis? I know only three (x, y, z as in geometry). What are the other two?

yaw/pitch/vertical shift/horizontal shift/rolling

From the photographic aspect, which one would you consider to be the axis of evil?

What an amazing clip! If I was flying an aeroplane, and you wouldn’t want to be around if I were, I would be concerned about pitch, rolling and yaw, probably in that order. Here is a camera which can totally overcome the effects of late onset age related essential tremor in the mature photographically inclined expat pensioner. You must be absolutely thrilled to have found a device that will allow you to continue to take ‘crazy sharp’ photographs when your very extremities are vibrating like the reed in a well blown bass tuba…
