Off to a good start

The visitor statistics for the first day of this blog are lost in the foggy mists of time; but I would guess the number to be 5. Two of those would be people I encouraged to take a look, the remaining three would be as the result of typos.

I was pretty much expecting similar from my new enterprise, Micro Four Thirds Info. In fact I didn’t even bother configuring the statistics gathering tool until late yesterday morning. Most surprising, and encouraging, therefore to discover that the visitor numbers for the (half) day were 667. Most of these came via the 43 Rumors (sic) site which is an excellent source of M43 gossip, and also provides links to other reviews, like mine.

Don’t know where how they found my site, but whizzo that they did, and the result was a few compliments from readers which always goes down well with my fragile ego. I know where I am with Pattaya Days. About four hundred visitors a day and a regular bunch of people leaving comments who can be guaranteed not to make me cry. But I feel a little more exposed with M43 Info; who knows what type of photographic psycho might turn up?

Anyway, to feed the interest of my new readers, I have quickly stuck up a re-hash of my review of the Olympus 75mm lens. It’s substantially the same as the one I posted here, albeit with different words, different photos, and more cat references. If I was you I wouldn’t bother.

In other news, this is my fifth day of man flu, and though I may have staggered back from the brink of certain death, I am still feeling pretty shitty and not fit enough to to go out and take photos. As an alternative, sleep is proving very popular and I am off for one now.

Rumors were a Ghost sent them and a couple other 4/3 sites word of your new haunt.

If that were so, I would be very grateful to the Ghost involved.

Well, since said Ghost is still basically unemployed, any free 60, 7-14 or (new) 300mm lenses that might come your way would be a fine way to show appreciation. Or a silver OM-D. :)
