Three nights in Luang Prabang in Laos; and I wish it could have been much longer. Never mind, somehow I have managed to snap my way through more than 1,000 photos, enough to bore you with “Luang Prabang Days” until the end of the year. Included in this will be coverage of my totally unexpected involvement in the Hmong New Year; one of the weirder and wonderful experiences of my life.

But first, sleep.

2012-12-25| david saysThe last picture, was that taken with your Canon or Panny/75mm combo?
2012-12-25| david saysJust read the monk story, so it’s your Panny/Oly combination. Very impressive bokeh and sharpness, that lens is very nice indeed!
2012-12-25| Spike saysYes, 75mm Olympus at F1.8. I have a post full of Hmong shots coming up before the end of the year. Never take the Canon on holidays; it is just for sports shooting.
