
Took the proprietor of PattayaDaze out for a trip this afternoon, in the certain knowledge that if there were macro subjects around, he would spot them. But for a while there was not much to shoot other than a few flowers.






The first sign of animal life was a large buzzy thing, stuffed up inside a tiny orchid:

This sighting was quickly followed by a rather disgusting frog. I tried kissing it in case there was a princess inside; but nothing happened:

Finally, we found an area where there were dragonflies, a staple diet for macro shooting:




Good outing, even if we found nothing spectacular. All shots with the Panasonic GX1 and the Olympus 60mm macro; hand-held and auto-focus.
