Took a walk with the Kiev this afternoon, and brought along the GX1 with the Lensbaby as an accompaniment.
Guanyin sits in a little park not far from the Pratumnak lookout, and she always welcomes some photographic attention as she faces the setting sun. I like this shot because the Lensbaby blurring gives an ethereal touch to the extremities of the statue.

Had a small altercation with a fat Russian lady who wanted me to move out of the way when I was composing a shot with the Kiev so she could take her snap. I showed her my camera. “Russian camera. Very old. Very slow. It’s all your fault”. She didn’t understand.
She who must be obeyed is always telling me I should be more polite, which I interpret as being as rude as always, but quieter; so I muttered “go fuck yourself” in a low voice as I walked away having finished my masterpiece. Bitch.
