Been feeling a little shabby the last couple of days. Feared an onset of the feared man-flu, but seem to be recovering today. The day celebrated by pissing it down, making surfing or street photography out of the question; so I settled down with a couple of shells that Nik had given me.
Couldn’t get a light inside them, so decided to light from the side and have some coloured lights behind.
Tried it with a lot of lights, tried it with swinging the lights, in the end I decided it was best with just a small number of lights in the background.

All I have to do now is clear up the sand without spilling it all over the floor. Failure is an option.

2012-09-06| Jock saysSpike have you forgotten the old Scots recipe for man-flu …. Hot Toddy - whisky, lemsip, teaspoon sugar, honey, sqeeze of lemon and add hot water ..
heck even if you don´t even have man-flu you´ll be guaranteed a good night´s sleep !!
2012-09-06| Spike saysJock, have you forgotten that I have told you that I don’t drink whisky?
2012-09-07| Grant saysVery wise too, obviously accounts for your superb mental and physical well-being. Many a fine young lad has had his life ruined by those filthy products of Scottish distilleries. Try Jock’s receipe with gin and lime instead of whisky and lemon, safer than water and much more fun!
2012-09-07| Jock saysGrant, that´s a new one on me .. must give it a go …. obviously the whisky recipe is what started my downfall all them years ago !!
2012-09-07| Grant saysJock, a whisky downfall is an honourable downfall; mine’s a Glenfiddich!! Hic…
