Love the barnacles, what have you done with the rest of the ship?

Occasional??? That’s two in two days.

Which Voiglander you using? One of the newer ones or an adapted?

Great, great lens. Focuses close enough to be almost a macro, and crazy sharp. Plus. F0.95 when you need it to be.

Familiar with it. It’s the price tag that scares me. Don’t know if you seen the review on the 12-35 2.8 yet but here is a good one, http://admiringlight.com/blog/panasonic-lumix-12-35mm-f2-8-x-review/

It’s good, but expensive, and F2.8. I am covered by the 7-14mm. 25mm F1.4 and 45mm F1.8. I haven’t dared add up the cost of that lot…

The guy who wrote the review said that the primes would better cover the focal lengths versus the zoom. I will say that the 7-14 isn’t a lens I reach for unless I’m shooting architecture or a car and need the wide shot.

Reminds me I need to do a “gear I use” post; that should piss a few people off! The 45mm is just so good for the money, it’s a must-have. The 25mm is the best lens I have ever used for M4/3; and I spent a lot of time thinking about the Olympus 12mm, but the 7-14mm is such fun and the image quality is great for a zoom. I do have a gap that could be filled by a 75mm…

It would piss me off because I would want half of it.

I have a something on the order of 20+ lenses and I’m up to 4 m4/3 bodies and I have two Canon DSLRs. Half the lenses could be sold because I never use them but then I go to sell them and think I might use them.

The 75mm is nice and fast. The price is a killer at $800. I will eventually get one. I’m sure I have some organ that I don’t need.
