Black and white drift

Made a return to the drift racing today and took a few shots. First one I reviewed on the computer seemed a bit drab, but it perked up when I converted it to black and white. So I did the same to all of them.

fantastic pictures, I saw some of your photos from the 2010 drift at Bali Hai, I believe you took them from the viewpoint when the light was fading, just intrigued to know how you did that in poor light with a long lens ?.

Canon 300mm F2.8. Actually it was already dark; so all the shots were at F2.8 and ISO 3200 if I recall.
