The final photo

· 197 words · 1 minute read

Three days of photo processing finished this evening. The very last shot had been taken when it was almost dark. Slow shutter speed and high ISO resulted in a blurry, noisy photo which would normally be deleted without thought.

But this one, of my friends Churo, Cami and their baby is somehow full of love and life; with the extra benefit of a child who is wondering if this crazy woman can really be his mother. Nice find at the end of a long haul.

Panasonic GX1 with Panasonic/Leica 25mm.

Surprise you can still type after that much processing. Looks good and if the images you happy then thats all that matters.

With living animals (e.g. also people) I think it is not always the technic that makes the photo but the amazing luck (is there a God?) of snapping just that amazing and perfect moment from the perfect angle. It takes more as good photographer to take the shot on that moment. It takes interaction with the object. And some luck.
