Holed up

I am now holed up in my temporary isolation quarters in Pattaya. Not too shabby, with unlimited high-speed internet, which although is clearly indicated as not to be used for torrents, I am using for torrents and downloading vast quantities of media to keep me entertained.

The last couple of days have been a busy time for my thyroid. Having spent two weeks without iodine or medication, it was a pretty hungry little organ and must have been delighted to have been presented with a pill full of its favourite food.

Mmmmm, iodine! Let’s absorb it all! Tastes a little strange though, sort of hot and fizzy…..

With Mr. Thyroid now soaked in radiation, my role for the next couple of days is to drink a lot of water and help flush any surplus iodine out of the system.

Meantime, my thyroid will continue to go nuts until it starts to die of radiation poisoning over the next few weeks. Which means my weight will continue to drop and I will continue to be constantly hungry; but a small price to pay to sort out this nonsense. Apart from the regular need for food, I feel pretty good.

Time for (another) snack.

While I note your glands condition with some concern, I can’t help wonder why you don’t go with the local version : thairoids. Much easier to cure. Adn requires only local snacks.
