2012-01-16| Bob saysHow did some of those streetwalkers (male and female) react to you taking their pictures? Woman in shot 1 doesn’t look too thrilled.
2012-01-16| Spike saysAs far as I know, nobody noticed. I never look directly at the subjects and pretend to be concentrating on shooting something nearby after I get the shot. Using the 45mm (90mm effective) lens helped, I was not right next to them.
2012-01-16| Bob saysYeah, taking my 22,000 iphone money and buying the 45mm…..
2012-01-16| Spike saysIt’s less than 13k.
2012-01-17| MSB saysMan made camel toe??
2012-01-17| Spike saysYou have been assigned to find out. Please report your findings once your mission is complete.
2012-01-18| Dave saysAmazing shots! I like the b/w shot of the russian girls and the one with the white shirt falang. How do you get these shots so sharp? I am a JPEG only shooter (x100) but can’t get this quality. Of course I am a lousy photographer but maybe I will start to shoot in raw and try to do some PP?
2012-01-18| Spike saysThe Olympus 45mm is an amazingly sharp little lens; but I do have a little tweak that I often use; can be applied to any images. Will write it up. Next week.
2012-01-18| Grant saysNumber two is a brilliant hooter study… Keep at it Spike, there’s a diversity here you just don’t get with levitating ponies.
2012-01-19| Spike saysIt is rather fun and I shall certainly go out and do it again. Walking Street is a massively target rich environment.
2012-01-20| Jock saysSpike, the guy in Photo 1 looks remarkably like you - how did you manage that ? Is there a hidden feature on the GX1?
2012-01-20| Spike saysAnd the “guy” in photo 3 looks remarkably like you. Funny old world.
2012-01-20| Jock saysGood spot … I should learn not to comment … there´s always a comeback …
2012-01-20| Dave saysThanks. Your photos are amazing. Could you make a nice topic with X100 walkng street pictures?
