Funny how we are always told to respect others beliefs. Yet a “belief” by definition is an assumption that the brain accepts as definitive fact when processing information to chose next actions. When a “belief” is lacking in repeatable evidence to substantiate it - “Faith” is required, and “faith” demands even greater respect than “belief”.

Shouldn’t we be respecting actions that lead to an improvement in harmony and lives of all people and our environment. Actions that arise from examining repeatable events not from arrogant fairy tails that make us feel important, special or safe?

Instead we respect, beauty, power, money and fairy tales of a better afterlife, where some greater being has made all the decisions for us.

Just as I suspected, Osama bin Liner is still alive. Or is that a reflection of Spike I see in the background ! Can you spot him in the photo ?

Err, yes. The Nazis were indeed Christians, but I suspect this young man harbours Aryan rascist beliefs more than any adherence to the purportedly magic Jew.

No.

Well spotted Wally. Shame that the young lady’s thighs are out of focus.

Thank you genuinej. I think all that recent chocolatre is blurring Spike’s vision.

You’re both nuts. There is no reflection of me, and there are plenty of sharp thighs on display in an adjacent post. But it is true that I have been eating rather too many caramel chewy Tim Tams over the past few days.

Is that whole nuts or nuts and raisins ? And you still haven’t seen Bin Bag.

2012-01-18 | Spike says

No, I haven’t. Please point me in the approximate direction.

Thank you for the clarification. You are right, it is Obama bin Vader.
