Last year I wrote a rather snide piece about a development called The Koral. The post received a number of comments from mugs smart investors who had put down their hard earned money as a deposit.
Eighteen months on, I thought I would go and have a look at construction progress, I reckoned it must be almost complete by now and the lucky investors would be checking out their sea views.
Unfortunately, the front of the development is obscured by the sales office which I assume is a temporary structure:

Never mind, I would go round the back and check out the facilities which would be “letting you swim in crystal clear water in shady surroundings. While enjoying the feeling of beach lifestyle”. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite like that….

Ah well, perhaps they are just letting the foundations settle for a year or so before the glittering edifice is constructed. But their web site does not inspire confidence; the “project progress” tab doesn’t work, and the last “activity” was a party nearly a year ago.
Perhaps one of the previous supporters of the project on my first post would care to comment?

2011-10-27| Pete saysYou should have posted a picture looking south from that same place the second picture is taken. That shows the complete lack of progress over the last year. All those concrete piles at different heights, not one of them straight and no apparent rhyme nor reason for their position! Totally overgrown too.
They did chop a big tree down about a year ago though - perhaps that took all their funds?
2011-10-29| Spike saysI should, but it was raining and I would have got my feet wet, and intrepid as I am, I don’t like getting my feet wet.
