Nothing to be smug about

It’s only a couple of days before the Thai general election and, as an outsider, it would be easy to be smug about the lack of democracy and the assorted puppets and criminals running for office.

Nothing like the UK you might think, where there is a rigorous system of democracy that ensures only the brightest and best political minds reach parliament. People like Ed Milliband…..

British politicians have all sounded the same for years. No matter what political party, it’s all soundbites and mindless fudge. Great interview there - dear Ed gets asked a number of questions and gives the same answer to all of them! Can we get Neil Kinnock back?

With the way UK appears to be heading I think Enoch Powell would be a damn good choice at the moment. Iain D Smith wants more jobs given to native Brits, others warn of racial discrimination if that happens - prospective employers are between a rock and a hard place at the moment.
