A good month

June saw the highest ever number of visits to Pattaya Days (apart from the Jeff Savage month which saw ratings go through the roof). More than 7,000 visits to the site, and this in a month which didn’t feature any photos of horses.

So, thanks for visiting.

And as part of my extended thank you speech, I would also like to thank The Son for making my theme work perfectly, and Wordpress for providing such a slick piece of software for a a very reasonable cost (free).

Wordpress has improved significantly since I first started this site. It’s a pleasure to use and the fact that you can update to the latest version in thirty seconds with one click (as I did this morning) means it is easy to gain access to all the latest features.

The other key component of this blog is Flickr which holds all my photos. Flickr is free for limited usage. But if you want to throw gigabytes of photos and videos at it; then you have to pay for an account. It’s fast, reliable with many useful features; and I don’t begrudge the $25 a year that they charge. Most useful for me is the easy access to code for each size of a image; so I can put a preview in the blog and show you a larger size when you click on a photo.

So well done Wordpress, The Son, Flickr and you the reader. Let’s all get together for a group hug; just make sure you are wearing your contraceptive Speedos.
