Wat Phutthaisawan

Off to Ayutthaya and we check in to the Iudia hotel.. Charming little place, with a spectacular view over the river to Wat Phutthaisawan.

Sadly, our room did not have a view of the temple, but it did compensate by having an open-air shower area with a shower head that dropped water from at least a three metre height. Bliss.

Of course we had to make the trip to check out the temple:

I don’t think the phallic symbol needs dressing on top. Looks stupid and the colour doesn’t go anyway. Should be brown. Or nothing. But bloody brilliant photos, as usual, and I want to go there. And will. Because I can.
