To reinforce the carnival theme, it was necessary to start proceedings with a dance by a couple of Brazilian girls who made up for a total absence of dancing skill with plenty of enthusiasm and desperate smiling.
We were then treated to a “lingerie show”, which meant underwear with the occasional piece of lace; topped off with ridiculous headgear.
Being Pattaya, most of the bras were filled by ladyboy silicon; presumably professional models could not be persuaded to parade up and down in front of drooling Russian men with mobile phones in one hand and god knows what in the other.
