Been busy; the extent of which I can best illustrate by reporting that I have pressed the shutter button on my camera more than 4,000 times since last Tuesday, loaded all the resulting images on my computer and processed all but 500 of the photos. Thank god for a fast computer, Lightroom and two monitors. Less thanks go to the cat that expressed a regular desire to sleep on the keyboard.
Anyway, once the outstanding 500 are complete, disks burned and galleries loaded to the web; my assignments for January are complete and I will be free to enjoy some wind (hopefully) and decorate a bedroom (regretfully). And stick some more nonsense on this site.
Retirement is a lot harder work than I expected.

2011-01-10| Spike saysI never wondered about your lack of interest in achieving competency; I feel the same about golf. Luckily the hobby makes me money which I spend on buying more gear to feed the hobby so I can carry out more assignments to make more money to buy more gear to feed the hobby so I can…
Until the gear cupboard is full or I die; whichever comes first.

2011-01-12| Pattaya says4000 shoots in a week is crazy :) Remember 10 years back, where we had to work with slow pentium 3 prozessors, that was slow and a pain. (i´m just amateur, hobby photograph}
PS: thanks for your guide, i gave my wife to read and learn. she´s using a cheap eos1000 , but only in auto mode :( so it was a waste of money to buy it for her.
