2010-12-04| Barry saysIsn’t nature amazing. Wonderful colours. When I woz a spotty yooff I kept hairy brown caterpillars from my garden that eventually became Garden Tiger moths. They had a brown furry head which they let me stroke, their top wings were white with brown splotches and the underwings were red and blue. The body was brown with a small red ring or two. Lovely, they were. Everyone thought they were butterflies.
Being a little strange, I used to let butterflies flutter around my bedroom (far out, man), and used to receive caterpillars by mail order. I think you can still do that.
