Squid hunters

Sat on the beach at sunset and there were a couple of guys in a fishing boat out on the gulf:

As the sunset kicked in, the little fishing boat became rather irrelevant:

Almost dark and I was just about to return home; when they kindly turned on their squid fishing light. The squid, being of little brain, think “oh, green light”. Not sure what they think next. Sex? Food? A garishly lit squid pub? Anyway, it is something that attracts them and they head for the light, get caught, then we eat them. Hah! Serves them right for being stupid.

I think a more rational reading of the photos would suggest that they were re imagining the scene from Godfather 2 where Fredo is shot on lake Tahoe by Neri. Obviously in this version Neri is a Jedi who dispatches Fredo with his Lightsaber.
