Stroking something hard

· 335 words · 2 minute read

I am lying on the sofa getting a massage. “It’s very hard” the young lady observes, “let me work on it and see if I can help”. I let her and the relief is almost immediate. Then suddenly the door opens and in walks she who must be obeyed.

Could this trigger a rush to acquire a kitchen knife and the swift removal of my genitals? Fortunately, no; because the hard object is a seized up muslce in my neck, and the lady doing something about it is the very wonderful Khun Pinkul, my favourite physio, and she has been tracked down by she who must be obeyed and persuaded to come and help me.

A couple of days ago I woke up with a stiff neck. It’s the sort of thing we all experience from time to time; and quite honestly I am grateful to wake up with a stiff anything nowadays. But the stiffness did not go away, and by the evening I could hardly move my head without triggering sharp spasms of pain. A day later and it is no better and I am in need of some help. Enter Khun Pinkul. After her work in restoring my back to some sort of normality, she is the only person who I trust to sort out muscle problems. After an hour or so of “manual traction”, deep heat and assorted manipulations, it is feeling a little better.

But I don’t feel up to windsurfing or taking photos; slumping in a chair and applying heat packs is the best I can manage.

Here endeth the excuse for a lack of posts.

There is of course Khun Tami from Yellow Massage on Jomtien Soi 6, who does a wonderful job of attending to stiff muscles, but she who must be obeyed would most definitely separate you from your nether regions should she catch you with her…
