Clarke Quay is an area of Singapore with a good choice of restaurants and bars.
We had some excellent food and locally brewed beer at The Pump Room. Most places seemed to be doing reasonable business, with only one outlet having zero customers. This may have something to do with the fact that it used medical and dental equipment as a theme. Would you fancy relaxing for a beer here?:
Or would it seem to be in poor taste to share a few pints with your friends sitting in these?:
Some cheap cast-off hospital equipment does not make for an attractive bar concept.
