One of those dull days, with showers of rain to further dampen the mood. Could be late September in Europe if it wasn’t for the heat. I find such weather a little depressing, so having delivered an emergency packet of dog food to she who must be obeyed at her office (don’t ask), I decide to just drive around with the LX3 by my side and see what turns up. The obliging dog at the temple, plus the below, were reasonable reminders that I am in Thailand and not in Europe, and that at least cheered me up.

2009-07-22| Chris saysYes lazy days. I have been in Pattaya for a week and a half and go back to Australia next week (to 19c winter days). I enjoy the rain here as it cools everything and refreshes the air.
2009-07-22| Wentworth saysFor what its worth I think the composition of the photo with the dog is spot on.
I’m in Australia and I haven’t seen any 19c winter days although it was 26c in Sydney today, warmest in 19 years they say. Wisely I will be in Thailand and HK for sep/oct the rainiest 2 months….Dam.
2009-07-22| Spike saysAmazingly, I think the dog was called Spot too. At least when I said “stay on that spot Spot”, it did.
Bloody raining here again today.
2009-07-22| genuinej saysI can’t see a spot on “Spot” so I doubt if its his/her correct name. If you’d spotted a dog collar perhaps you could have checked the name.
2009-07-22| genuinej saysP.s. Does the buffalo have a name?
2009-07-22| Spike saysI think Dick might be appropriate.
2009-07-22| Pete says.. or is the buffalo in the wrong post and just looking for it’s cart? Anyway, it looks more like one of those cows with balls to me. What’s the technical name, oh, I remember now, ‘bull’
2009-07-23| Spike saysYou’re right, your memory is awful. Don’t get forgetful when you meet a bar girl with similar assets.
