Save the dolphins, kill the trees

Walk around Pattaya and you will find posters encouraging you not to throw junk into the sea.

Admirable sentiment, but sadly the preferred method for displaying these posters is to staple them to trees. So, don’t drop your cigarette butt anywhere near the sea or else you might kill a dolphin, but by all means make an eyesore out of a pleasant leafy walkway by hammering white plastic signs onto trees with staples.

Cripes. If I’d known that my cigarette butts would KILL - BABY’S, I might have disposed of them a little more carefully. The classic greengrocers’ apostrophe is a nice touch.
