Yesterday was wild, windy and wonderful and today promised more of the same until rain stopped play.
After the rain there was not much wind for windsurfing, but still some shore break for Craig to go and ride. It’s ridiculous how much fun you can have on small waves with a SUP.

2009-06-03| Pete saysBeing recently educated as to the meaning of SUP from another of your blog posts, I am now interested in how you pronounce it. Is it as per the Yorkshire ‘sup’ (have a drink) or is it EssYouPee. If it’s the latter, shouldn’t it be “an SUP” ?
2009-06-04| Spike saysI am impressed with your knowledge of Yorkshire-speak. I geographically almost lived there for a number of years.
Just remember: What’S UP? SUPple SUPpository! You can also say EssYouPee, or even: overpriced slab of plastic bastard thing, when it dumps you in the sea one more time.
2009-06-04| Pete saysMy knowledge of Yorkshire-speak comes from being born and raised there. Nothing impressive about it at all, it was hammered into me on a daily basis. Still don’t know though - is it ‘an essyoupee’ or ‘a SUP’ ?

It’s a SUP
Surviving Yorkshire is impressive. Not as impressive as surviving Middlesbrough though (modestly inspects fingernails).
