Every weekend, an area at the top end of Theppasit Road is turned into a market. It is interesting to walk around once or twice, which is several hundred times less than the number of times she who must be obeyed is happy to walk around it.
Fortunately, she usually seeks out one of her friends and they disappear for a couple of hours, coming home with a selection of snacks which I am happy to consume. Last night they went, promising it would just be a brief trip to source food, so I tagged along with my camera.
Being a night market, and poorly lit, this meant slow shutter speeds, a wide open lens and an ISO which was usually 3200; not a chance of decent colour shots, but converted to black and white they don’t look too bad.
