An expensive car park

When in Singapore I enjoy staying at the Intercontinental, if the exchange rate permits. They have a very smart courtyard in which you can usually find a couple of very expensive cars parked.

I asked the concierge, “what would you do if I arrived in the courtyard with my Honda Civic?”

He replied, “Of course I would park it here for you sir”. Then he paused. “And when you had gone to your room I would have it moved to the underground car park”.

Good answer I thought.

On the couple of occasions I have gone to the Sheraton in Pattaya, I have been swiftly despatched to a hole under the hotel to park my car. No such ignominy for the drivers of Ferraris who turned up today.

But there was one guy who was forced to park out on the road. He had a Lamborghini.
