A circus arrived in our neighbourhood a few weeks ago. They erected an appropriately coloured tent and prepared a massive car park to accommodate all the cars that never came.
While the acrobats perform to tiny audiences, someone came up with a bright idea to fill the car park; hold a vehicle auction for cars and vans which are surplus to requirements in the current economic meltdown (which, according to the politicians here, is not severe and things are picking up and blah blah blah).
So if you are after a well-used but recently washed Toyota van (guaranteed to kill all occupants in the event of an accident), or an Airports of Thailand limousine; get yourself down to the circus.

2009-04-08| Spike saysNot that anyone cares, but I need to correct the above post. The vans are not actually for sale, they are the support vehicles for the Asean summit.
I was misinformed by an individual who will remain nameless (Nik).
