Pop the balloons and get auntie drunk on cheap sherry, for today is the first birthday of your favourite, the blog you quite like the blog you stumble onto by mistake, Pattaya Days.
To save you checking, here is the link to the first post, a totally inconsequential piece about the failure of the switch on my coffee machine. It’s been downhill from there really.
Too many photos of bikes, horses and windsurfers; and far too few of girls wearing insufficient clothing. Frequent references to my partner in crime, she who must be obeyed, who is a far sweeter person in real life than my desire to be slightly scurrilous in my writing would indicate.
And assorted other bollocks, strung out across 442 posts over the past year. Visited, on average, by about 80 people a day, who have left 1,129 comments; for which thank you. I write this stuff for my own amusement and just stick it out there; but it is pleasing to get some sort of response; even if it is of the “please just stop” variety.
So, into a second year of reporting on a life in the charming cess pool that is Pattaya. Oh dear, auntie has just thrown up on the sofa; gotta go.
