Firefox has been my web browser of choice for some time. Would never touch buggy, virus attracting Internet Explorer on a Windoze machine, and Safari on a Mac just seemed a little feature-light compared to Firefox.
But now there is Safari 4 (in beta) and it is rather spiffy. Seems to run quickly enough (on a Mac), and it has some cool features.
First there is the “top sites” view which shows you your most regularly visited sites on a single screen, from which you can visit a selected page. I am not sure how useful this is, but it looks cool; which is important.

Then there is the cover flow view where you can flip through your recently visited sites or bookmarks:

Again, not sure how useful, but scores highly in the “amaze your geeky friends” category. What may be useful is the ability to search on your history for a word or phrase and have all the sites containing the search, display in cover flow.
Available for Mac and Windoze, give it a try and amaze your geeky friends.
