It’s been at least a year since they started digging up Theppraya Road in order to widen it. Six months ago I reported some progress and highlighted shops which had lost their road frontage.
Finally, they have completed one lane of the road, and built an adjoining footpath. But the elevated shops have not progressed beyond simple wooden stairs; indeed a couple of shops have given up on even that.

If they were selling mountaineering equipment, I could see there might be a gimmick in their “scale the wall yourself” approach, but ladies dresses….

Having made motorists struggle through swampy, bumpy rubble for a year or so, the builders have suddenly erected some signs which are more likely to make you have an accident as you attempt to decipher them, rather than serve as a warning.
