You may have noticed that this site has not been updated much over the past few weeks. This is because I have little interest in writing anything.
But please don’t take this personally. I also have very little interest in anything else, apart from sleeping.
Before my accident I led a reasonably active life. I could rush around taking photos all day, I could windsurf for hours, without feeling the need to crawl into a quiet hole and take a doze. Nowadays, half an hour with the camera is enough to have me heading to bed for a comprehensive lie-down afterwards; and even if I were allowed to, I am sure I do not have the energy to windsurf.
No doubt, this is all part of the long, slow recovery process; but it is pissing me off and I wish it was over, so I could return to my previous happy life of snapping, surfing, and writing stuff about she who must be obeyed.
Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. I hope.
