My wide wide world of web connectivity has disappeared down the toilet of mediocrity. It is disconnecting every few minutes, no doubt this post will take forever to process.
I am promised a visit from a “technician” today who, from the experience of others, will bugger up my router and leave me worse than he found me.
Witty and yet strangely profound postings will continue (Ed: did they ever start?) once this technological mess has been resolved. Until then, please amuse yourselves.
Thank you.

2008-09-17| todd sayslogin to your router, is the signal physically dropping?
main issue i had with maxnet is their DNS. theirs always dies so I use a 3rd party dns (opendns)
try updating your dns to:
208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220
and see how it goes. either way you should.
