Country bingo

Here I sit in a condo in Thailand, churning out rubbish for my own amusement on a nearly daily basis. When I started, I anticipated an audience of no more than ten, mainly family and friends based in Europe or Thailand. From reasons that are not entirely clear, around a hundred lonely souls now visit here every day, from all over planet earth.

We track the relative numbers from various countries based on the country bubbles, a feature that continues to give rise to much debate, most recently from the French who demanded a recount based on the fact that their small colonies were not being included in the French total (see the debate here.)

We have also been amused by the showings from various cities, but with more than 500 scrolling down a small display, it has all got a little out of hand, so I have changed the criteria to only show the cities who have visited today (Hello Droitwich!).

And now, by popular demand (from me), we have country bingo! Swing your eyes to the left and down a bit and you will see the flags of the world. Countries who have visited are highlighted. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to stimulate visits from countries that have not yet passed this way, such that we make a line of highlighted countries either horizontally or vertically. Personally, I am about to make contact with someone in Haiti. And why has nobody from Spain been here? There is no excuse.
