A day trip to Bangkok with the express intention of watching The Dark Knight again, this time on an Imax screen. Left home at 0810 and had parked in the Emporium by 0930; easy driving on a Sunday. Down to Paragon and spent a thoroughly satisfying two and half hours absorbing Mr. Nolan’s masterpiece on a very BIG screen.
After the movie, it seemed only fair to let she who must be obeyed have some shop browsing time, so I sat and drank a juice while she assaulted the types of shops women normally assault. Before we went home I decided I needed to pay a visit to the Paragon toilets, and I came out of them very displeased. The seat was far too low, the seat was far too small and my delicate bum was substantially overflowing the edges; not the sort of facility one should expect at Bangkok’s smartest shopping centre.
I grumbled my displeasure at length to the wife.
Was the seat blue, she asked
Yes
Blue seats are toilets for children, you were sitting in a child’s cubicle.
Oh
That would explain the looks I got when I exited the facility.
