An open letter to Adobe

· 241 words · 2 minute read

Dear Abobe,

The three people who read Pattaya Days on a regular basis are aware that I have been struggling to give you some money for a piece of software I wished to upgrade. If you are interested in the background, which I am sure you are not, you can read here and here.

To continue: Having been thwarted by a website undergoing maintenance, The Ghost attempted to purchase the required licence at a later time. To cut a very long story short, he ended up talking to someone in India who told him that, even though he had a valid American credit card, and a valid American address which was linked to that card, he wasn’t allowed to purchase the software because he just happened to be sitting at a computer in Thailand.

My alternative approach, which had been to buy the software in Thailand had also drawn a blank. The distributor had given me three retailers to contact. I contacted them all. One had an invalid e-mail address and the other two didn’t bother to reply.

In summary, I have spent around six hours trying to give you money. The Ghost has also wasted much of his precious time trying to increase your profits for you. Clearly you are not interested in my business. I have therefore spend five minutes downloading a registration key from the internet and have stolen your product.

Love and kisses, Spike

P.S. You suck
