Last night I was browsing one of the local newspapers that she who must be obeyed is now bringing home so she can check the property pages. On the back of the paper there was a full-page, full-colour advertisement for Ocean 1. The advertisement included the proclamation “construction begins in March.” Given that it is now July, I assumed that this was either a grammatical error, or that they were talking about March 2009.
So let’s find out by checking the live webcam on the site. This was the situation one month ago:

If you look to the right of the green fence, the pile of materials on the ground has definitely grown by a couple of cubic metres; a positive sign that construction preparation is accelerating and indeed something might happen in March. March 2009 of course.
If the pace of progress excites you and you want to throw away some money invest, then the same advertisement advises that there is “an exceptional choice of freehold units.” The less charitable would interpret this as saying “we haven’t sold many yet.”
