Thanks to Jock who has sent me information on the latest innovative product from Apple. Hot on the heels of the Macbook Air and the iPhone 3G; something truly new which certainly looks inviting.
Searching the promotional literature, I have yet to discover the difference between the $499 and $599 models; and there appear to be two small USB connection points for the iTunes update, for aesthetic reasons only I assume.

However I’m waiting for the IBoob2 version which automatically disables the mouthpiece when the left and right ‘volume’ controls are ‘twiggled’ with.
Will probably cost twice as much but I would suggest many of the alpha species would gladly pay the price.
