An advert in the Bangkok Post today caught my eye:
$1,625 seemed like a fair price for a sex change. But then for slightly less I could get liposuction, a brow lift and eyelid surgery. Which to choose?
Disappointed to note that an orchiectomy was off the menu; until I googled orchiectomy and discovered it involved having your balls cut off. Still, having your balls removed is less than half the price of eyelid surgery, what sort of bargain would that be? Hard to resist. Presumably this service is now rolled into the sex change operation as a job lot.
Anyway, I have decided to go with the facelift and am presently negotiating for a discount if we dispense with such trivia as anesthesia.
